USS Ducks Solar

USS Ducks Solar is the first community solar project combined with a battery energy storage system (BESS) in ComEd’s territory. Located in the City of Oregon, Illinois, the project represents a major milestone in advancing access to clean, reliable energy across the state. The addition of the BESS enables the project to boost overall energy production by capturing excess solar energy and storing it for use during peak demand periods, unlocking additional clean, affordable power that can be used when it is most needed. This system helps deliver steadier, more resilient energy to the communities it serves.
