USS Big Lake 1

US Solar's Big Lake project is a first-of-its-kind partnership with Big River Farms that connects emerging farmers with access to land, enabling them to grow both their farming skills and fresh produce beneath solar arrays. The project was recognized by the Minnesota Department of Agriculture as the first Minnesota solar facility to receive the Water Quality Certified Farm distinction in 2023 and was awarded Solar Farm of the Year at the North American Agrivoltaics Awards in 2024.
