Project Coordinator

US Solar is hiring a Project Coordinator to assist the Operations team in administering the construction and operation of Solar projects. This role will support Project management and Construction management staff and reports to the Director of Operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Project Management staff in Contractor Management including capture of meeting minutes, file audits, assembly of photo logs, review and administration of quality control documents
  • Procurement activities including RFPs, shipping coordination, Bills of Lading, and other critical documents
  • Administration of contracts and POs with support of Project Manager
  • Utility coordination and easement administration
  • Assists in invoice processing and lien waiver management
  • Administration of Finance Counter Party interactions including meeting minutes, due diligence, and external data rooms
  • Creation and maintenance of Contractor tools and templates 
  • Update and management of company CRM and internal data rooms
  • Creation of reports and schedules to support decision making
  • Landowner engagement including construction notices, pre seeding discussions, and drawing updates
  • Audit deliverables from projects stakeholders including Title, Origination, Development, Construction Handoffs, Construction completion milestones

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Associates degree in Construction Management, or Engineering field
  • Experience in a similar role or utilizing similar core proficiencies is preferred but not required.
  • Solar PV experience and knowledge preferred but not required.
  • Strong analytical skills with knowledge of project management
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Ability to travel to projects as required (<25% travel)
