Administrative Assistant (Real Estate/General Office)

This position provides real estate support with respect to US Solar’s portfolio of renewable energy development assets located across the United States. This position will also assist US’s Solar’s Minneapolis office manager with various office administrative tasks. Experience in the power industry or real estate is preferred, but not required. The ideal candidate must be able to self-manage, problem solve, communicate, and work cooperatively with other function areas to support US Solar’s overall operations. This position requires the ability to work full-time, in-person, Monday through Friday in US Solar’s Minneapolis, MN office. Working remote is not an option for this postition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the real estate team within US Solar’s legal department
  • Support Minnesota’s office manager as needed 
  • This position works collaboratively and cooperatively with others in a team-oriented environment to deliver the highest level of service to internal and external clients
  • Complete intake of mail, including land leases and other relevant documents; scan and upload files to US Solar’s document management system 
  • Maintain physical and virtual records of outstanding and completed documents
  • Mail documents and other communication to landowners and clients
  • Work proactively with various function groups to accomplish tasks
  • Welcome visitors into the office
  • Organize meetings, send reminders, and organize catering when necessary

Requirements

  • Renewable energy or real estate experience a plus
  • Notary Public, or the ability to obtain Notary Commission
  • Working knowledge in Office365, Excel, Word, spreadsheet analysis, project scheduling and data management software
