Allen Tate

​As Director of Project Development, Allen leads strategic development of eastern US markets including all aspects of the development lifecycle from market analysis through construction handoff. Prior to US Solar, Allen developed 200 MW of greenfield and brownfield solar across Maine, Michigan, South Carolina, and Vermont as the Associate Director of Project Development with EDF Renewables Distribution-Scale Power.

Allen holds a Bachelor of Science in Natural Resources from Sewanee: The University of the South, a Master of Science in Environmental Studies, Conservation Biology from Antioch University of New England, and earned his Juris Doctor from Vermont Law School.
